dottodash ("we", "our", "the app") is a task-completion app for iPhone with an AI diary and a daily fortune. This policy explains what data is collected, where it goes, and what choices you have. We aim to be brief and honest.

#### 2. Data You Store — Stays on Your Device and iCloud

Your task content — titles, completion status, associated photos, signatures, and all personal notes — is stored only on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your own iCloud account via CloudKit key-value sync. This data is never transmitted to our servers. We operate no backend database, no account system, and we never see your task content.

#### 3. AI Diary & Fortune — Cloudflare Workers proxy → Google Gemini

When you generate an AI diary entry or a daily fortune, a short set of text metadata about your day — task titles, completion counts, skipped items, and streaks, together with your language setting — is sent through our Cloudflare Workers proxy to the Google Gemini API to write the diary or fortune text.

• The proxy and the upstream provider do not store or log this data (zero-retention); it exists only in-flight while your request is processed.
• Under a paid-tier agreement, Google does not use it to train models.
